“I’m running for the Minnesota House seat from District 24B because the divisive partisan name-calling and attack dog attitudes coming from the state legislature have to stop. As a leader in my company and in my church congregation, I know how much progress can be made by people working together for a shared goal, instead of pulling in opposite directions.
“I’ve spent the last 7 years as a small business employee and shareholder. In the early days at the company, there wasn’t always money for paychecks, so I know first-hand the challenges facing small businesses in Greater Minnesota. I understand that you can’t spend money foolishly, you need to invest wisely in order to grow, and that true fiscal responsibility means taking a balanced approach to budgeting. I believe in the importance of investments in schools for our children and roads for our businesses, so that Greater Minnesota can move forward and thrive.
“As the son of a teacher and school board member, I know the value of education. Learning doesn’t stop with a high school diploma, a college degree, or an apprenticeship. I will continue to seek out new ideas and listen to other viewpoints in order to develop solutions.
“Thanks for your support and your vote this November!”
